At the start of April clients of Slovenská sporiteľňa and Erste Private Banking successfully participated in the ZWIRN issue – the issue of secured bonds of ZWIRN area s.r.o., which originated through the merger of the developer YIT Slovakia a.s. (YIT Slovakia) and the Czech investment fund RSJ Investments SICAV in a 50:50 equity proportion.

RSJ Investments administers in its individual sub-funds a broad portfolio of investments ranging from information technology, biotechnology, healthy food production through to applied research in improving the quality and longevity of human life and investment in agricultural land.

The issue of ZWIRN bonds worth a total of €16 million, whose manager was Slovenská sporiteľňa, took place in two tranches of the following parameters:

• ZWIRN 2022 bonds with an annual coupon payout of 2.25% p.a.;
• ZWIRN 2023 bonds with an annual coupon payout of 2.60 % p.a.

The ZWIRN project is a long-term project aimed at creating a comfortable place to live, to work and for life near the Bratislava centre at one of the most prominent locations of the city. The planned construction will offer quality and affordable housing and modern offices. Completion of the final stage of ZWIRN apartment is scheduled for 2027.
