One of the June days in Slovakia was devoted traditionally to volunteering. Not wanting to be left behind, private bankers from Erste Private Banking also joined in the effort.

Private bankers from Bratislava, together with their colleagues from sales support department, rolled their sleeves up at the Bratislava ZOO. For various animals, in particular the ungulates, they cleaned out their enclosures and brought in fresh hay. Erste Private Banking also provided the ZOO with financial and material assistance.

Team from Trnava & Nitra, together with Trnava Archdiocese Charity and their homeless clients, spent the volunteering day cleaning bus stops. Equally important goal of this activity, was to help the homeless, in the form of discussions, overcome rejection by the society.

As part of the Naše mesto (Our city) project, organised by foundation Pontis, private bankers team from Žilina, Trenčín and B. Bystrica helped to clean up the grounds of Primary school complex in Karpatská street in Žilina. They grabbed sanding paper, scrubbers and brushes and the result of their labour was freshly painted school fence.

The team of bankers from the “East” has been associated for a long time with civic association Aétos, which supports spiritual development of young people. After they took part in May of this year in organising a hiking tour and goulash cooking, this time they helped to clean up the courtyard of this civic association.
