From 1 November, Michal Orlovský will be the new Head of Erste Private Banking, the private banking od Slovenská sporiteľňa. He will be responsible for more than 1,500 private clients and assets under management worth EUR 800 mil.
Michal Orlovský is an experienced banker who has been working in Slovenská sporiteľňa for more than 15 years. During this period, he held various positions in the Treasury Division. Previously, he was Head of Retail Sales & Investment Product Management Department where he was also responsible for management of investment products for private clients.
„In times when traditional bank products are not attractive in terms of appreciation, looking for interesting alternative investment options for private clients is the way to success. And it is also one of the key areas which we want to focus on,“ says Orlovský.
This year, Erste Private Banking issued several investment certificates, corporate bonds or new mutual funds for the clients. This helped private banking of Slovenská sporiteľňa achieve a 19% y/y increase of assets under management which is a considerably better performance compared with the market as a whole.
Michal Orlovský is replacing Michaela Kaňová who was the Head of Erste Private banking since 2011.
