Erste Private Banking, the private banking of Slovenská sporiteľňa, has concluded the fourth successful year in a row. In 2015 it managed to increase the volume of assets managed on a year-on-year base by 14 percent. It provides its services to more than 1,500 clients and manages a portfolio in the volume of EUR 665 million. Thus it is one of the leaders in long-term fund appreciation on the Slovak market.

During the year of 2015, Erste Private Banking brought several interesting investment opportunities. From the total number of 20 own emissions, 15 were tailor-made investment certificates that Erste Private Banking used to respond to the current situation and to the demand directly from the clients. As the only one on the market, it is able to issue Slovak investment certificates that the clients prefer owing to application of withholding tax. The wide spectre of supply also includes certificates of the Erste Group and third-party mutual funds, such as Allianz Global Investors, BNP Paribas, C – Quadrat, Fidelity and others.

The novelty of 2015 was the exclusive opportunity to invest in diamonds and clients could benefit from interesting investment opportunities also in 2016. “Despite the turbulent beginning of the year, we brought four exclusive emissions specially tailor-made for our clients. As the only one on the market, upon request of our client, in a few days we can issue an investment certificate in a flexible way and with Slovak taxation exactly according to the requirements of the clients” Michaela Kaňová, Director of Erste Private Banking emphasises.

Private clients may also use the Actively managed portfolio service for management of their portfolio. It represents a professional, highly diversified instrument for long-term asset management based on expertise from over 200 analysts within the Erste Group. The trust of clients and demand for professional management also showed in the year-on-year increase in the volume of managed investments by more than the half, namely to the level of EUR 95 million at the end of 2015.
